Educational & School Visits

At Shugborough, learning is brought to life in real working environments, with engaging costumed characters, interactive demonstrations and fascinating collections.

The estate boasts a mansion house full of treasures, a working farm with water mill, kitchen, dairy and rare breed animals.  There is also a walled garden growing fruit and vegetables, and an enormous Victorian servants' quarters with working kitchen, laundry and brewhouse.

We can turn your children into Victorian Servants or WWII evacuees and make them feel as though they've really lived the experience.  They can make their own bread, get elbow deep in curds and whey and show them how to wash their own piece of linen like the victorians did.

Our see, hear, feel, touch and smell approach to learning is guaranteed to give your school a memorable educational day out.
