Do you consider yourself to have the cunning of Miss Marple or the sharp mind of Hercule Poirot?

If so, we have a murderous treat in store for you at our upcoming Shugborough Murder Mystery Dinner Experience on March 20 from 7:15pm.  Entitled CALLING DR WATSON 
Enjoy an evening of tongue in cheek suspense and drama as 3 acts of our brilliant murder mystery unfold before the serving of each course, leading to a climatic 'whodunit'. The evening begins with a complimentary drink followed by a three course dinner.  This event takes place in our Lady Walk restaurant.

SCHEDULE & ITINERARY

CALLING DR WATSON!

7.15 p.m.  Arrival to enjoy your complimentary glass of wine or soft drink

7.45 p.m.  Take your seats as we begin our evening of suspense and drama
  The 3 acts will take place before the serving of each course

This Victorian Melodrama is a tale set in the home of Sir Andrew Ringland who lives with his doting wife along with their ‘flibberty jibbert’ daughter and her maiden aunt, who is a severely repressed supporter of good causes.  Both hope for a suitor but the only available man in the area is the solemn and sensible curate of the local church.

So thank goodness Dr Watson lives nearby to bring some semblance of sanity into this dysfunctional family!

10.30 p.m. “Who done it !!”   Followed by prize giving

Braised fillet of chicken with shallots, button mushrooms and smoked bacon served in a red wine sauce

Seasonal vegetables roasted with fresh basil, wrapped in filo pastry and served with a tomato and basil sauce

Lemon Torte
Light shortcurst pastry filled with a zesty lemon cream, served with a mixed berry compote
