Pluck up the courage for the region’s most hair-raising family experience as Staffordshire’s most haunted estate throws open its doors for a Halloween evening of spooks, spells and things that go bump in the night. This year the famous Shugborough mansion has been turned into a haunted house filled with mischievous spooks and not so scary family thrills

After enjoying the fun and tomfoolery in the mansion, only the very brave are invited into the darkened rooms of the Servants’ Quarters where a ghostly surprise lurks around every gloomy corner and even more costumed ghouls work in the original kitchen, laundry and brewhouse!

In the estate gardens the ghost train will embark on a nerve-wracking journey along the riverside Lady Walk, or for even more fun outside, try trick or treating and spooky spectacles.  There will also be an array of tasty treats available and a fun fair will be offering rides for an additional charge.

The event is billed as Staffordshire spookiest family friendly event, and will no doubt be a scream!

The family fun and freakish frivolities take place Saturday Oct 29 and gates creak open at 5pm.
