Rag Rug making for Beginners
Shugborough are offering a unique opportunity to learn the traditional craft of Rag Rug Making in a beautiful and historic setting.
This course is lead by Rag Rug Designer Dianne Crittenden who is an experience tutor and craft expert.

Techniques used in the making of Rag Rugs

Choosing Materials for colour, texture and durability

Hands-on practical session where you will have a go at the techniques demonstrated
A great opportunity to reuse and recycle old clothes and materials.

10:00am – 4:00pm
Suitable for ages from 8 – 100 and for absolute beginners – No experience is necessary
The cost is £45 including lunch and refreshments
Tools, backing and other material supplied. Course participants need to bring their own fabric, full details will be supplied.
